Pooja Description
The Ganeshotsav will start by performing Ganesh Sthapana and Visarjan Puja on the auspoicious Vinayaka Chavithi from Chaturthi tidhi and ends after 10 days i.e; on Anant Chaturdashi (Anantha Padmanabha Vratha Pooja). Anant Chaturdashi is also known as Ganesh Visarjan day. On Anant Chaturdashi, devotees immerse Ganesh Sthapana idols in water body after a gala street procession.
Ganesh Sthapana Puja Date:
Usually Ganesh Chaturthi festival is celebratd on fourth day or Bahula Chaturthi tithi in the month Bhadrapada. In 2021 Ganesh Chaturthi festival falls on 22nd August.
