Griha Pravesh Puja is mostly performed in Hinduism. It is performed when the purchasing of a new house, Housewarming Ceremony is done to ensure peace and harmony in the house. As per the Ancient scriptures and Vedic books there are 3 types of Griha Pravesh Puja.

Pooja Procedure
Grihapravesh is the place of Poojas and Homam that are performed for the new house or before moving into a for the first time. Griha Pravesh Puja is the procedure to remove negative energy occupying by the house/place and helps individual to move to the new house without any obstacles and removes the drishti. The main thing in this Pooja is Gho Pooja, Ganapathy, Navagraha & Lakshmi, and Vasthu Homam. After completion of Homam the milk is boiled and overflow the new vessel as a good sign in the new house.
After completion of Grihapravesh Pooja, a pumpkin is offered to remove drishti from the family and the new house.
