Namakaranam Pooja is an important ritual which is done for every Hindu child. Barasala is a use of initiating a child into a religion and reminding the parents their obedience and responsibilities towards their child. Pooja Procedure

On the day of NamaKaranam pooja, the baby and mother are given a ritual bath. The child is dressed in a new clothes. The pandit perform pooja followed by a havan and offer prayers to all the gods. The five elements, the spirit of the forefathers, and invokes them to bless and protect the child. The pandit places a cloth on which betel leaves, turmeric, lentils, and Moong dal are kept along with the child’s horoscope in front of the image of the deity. The Father whispers the chosen name in the right ear of the baby using a betel leaf. After finishing the Namakaranam ritual, friends and relatives bless the child.

    This is 3rd time I have utilized your services and not satisfied with the pandit assigned. He came late beyond muhurtham. The attire of the pandit is also not good. He wore a black shirt throughout the event and when we asked he told that he got fever.
