Diwali Laxmi Puja falls on Amavasya after the third day of Diwali Lakshmi the goddess of wealth and she is the wife of Lord Vishnu. Every devotee cleans their house before Diwali Pooja, decorate their houses with flowers, toys, and prepare sweets to offer Lakshmi Devi and they place Lakshmi Devi Idol and decorate with jewellery and welcome her to bless her devotees for their health and wealth. She is embodiment of power and intelligence, Lakshmi Devi holds “Abhay Mudra” and “Gyana Mudra” in their right hands and her four hands signifies the Dharma, Moksha, Kaama, Artha.
